This is a project I wish I had 10 of as I could have sold it over and over at The Prairie Sister's show. The sweet lady who bought it had a father named Thurman. Thurman's was an out of business plumbing supply place in Missoula, the town the show was in. I started by building a basic wooden base, the same I have done so many times.
I washed the yardsticks in color and added a little stain.
I had a thin wood top on the table. I glued and the nail gunned the rulers in place (after cutting them, of course).
Fun and easy--now to find more yardsticks.
