Bravo Farms Smokehouse Opens in Visalia

Bravo Farms has arrived in Visalia! This week, Bravo Farms Smokehouse opened its' doors. I'm currently crafting their press release, and today I snapped a few pictures of their beautiful renovation. If you are a local, you know that this building is completely unrecognizable from what it used to be. New life and fresh ideas have been breathed into this location.

Guests can feel right at home in the beautifully decorated restaurant. I love that there are different areas to eat in, and each area is just a little bit different. I'm really drawn to the gorgeous mint booths, with dark wood tables, against this rustic brick wall.
Grab a comfy stool or table in the bar and enjoy a big selection of California beer and wine.

As always, they have a beautiful gift shoppe stocked with goodies to take home or build a custom gift basket.

They have a fully covered patio for outdoor dining.

Be sure to check them out at 400 N. Willis St. in Visalia. You'll be glad you did!  Bravo Farms Smokehouse phone: (559) 738-9190

Bravo Farms Smokehouse is coming soon and will feature artisan style barbeque, and the fresh quality that you would expect from their trusted name. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and offer patio seating. The renovation is well underway at the former Wagon Wheel building, located in the heart of downtown Visalia, at 400 N. Above is the official press release I wrote for Bravo Farms. It was just delivered to all of the local news in-boxes. NOW the really fun part... I get to tell you my OPINION. Press releases need to be written in a certain format and based on facts, but I'm excited to share what I'm looking forward to! I can't tell you how excited I am to have a place in town to go for fresh, delicious food! I never realized how big the old Wagon Wheel building is until today's tour. It was really dated when it was Wagon Wheel, but I can tell you from the drywall dust on my shoes, that everything is brand spankin' new and fresh. When it is done it will be unrecognizable. Lunch will be a healthy, fresh version of a fast lunch, just like the Tulare restaurant. I can't wait for the dinner menu! If the staff and service are anything like the Bravo Farms in Tulare, it will be fantastic! I've never met such pleasant and helpful people. I've said it once, and I'll say it forever...find a place to call your own and put down some roots. Get to know people at the place you love, make some friends. It will make your experience so much more personal and enjoyable. Cheers knew what they were talking about when they said, "sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name". Supporting local restaurants is good for everyone. You know I'll keep you in the loop and let you know when they are open for business, and include pictures when it's finished. Get your taste buds ready!

A Bite of Bravo Farms

Last night we had a "date night" to make up for missing last week. I wanted to go to a movie, so of course we went to Bravo Farms in Tulare first. I got the Tomato Basil Pizza, with Pesto and a bit of Balsamic dressings as the sauce. I told them extra basil. I LOVE basil! The crust is super thin and really crispy!

Brandon loves when they have pulled pork, but since they didn't have any, but they had ribs, they were nice enough to make shredded pork from the ribs! The ribs were so tender that the meat just came completely off the bone. He was SO happy! ;) Add in our fries, a shared glass of wine, and cheap movie tickets {you KNOW you can buy your tickets at Bravo for $7.50 right?!} and you've got yourself a great date night!

A Bite of Bravo Farms

Wanna see something else Bravo Farms has to offer? Last time I showed you a wrap that I built myself. This time I thought I'd show you a Brisket Sandwich. They smoke this bad boy for HOURS, until the meat is absolutely tender and delicious! Note that brisket isn't an everyday menu item, different days they have different special meats. Think pork tenderloin, brisket, special fish...in addition to their regular meat choices: chicken, turkey, tri-tip, salmon.
You get to pick your bread, spreads, cheese (mmm...bravo cheese!), and toppings. TELL me that does not look like something you want to sink your teeth into!
I can't get enough of these super crunchy fries! Honestly, they are the best fries I've ever eaten...anywhere!
Have you tried Bravo Farms in Tulare yet?

Bravo Farms

Tonight I snapped a few quick pictures while eating at Bravo Farms in Tulare. I'm hoping to be able to show you a lot more of what they can do. The menu is totally up our alley. Sometimes you want something REALLY tasty, but in a atmosphere that's low key and relaxed. Bravo's feel is totally my style. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I've said it before and I'll say it again... find a couple of places to call home and stick with them. Go somewhere where you'll be more than just a table number.
This is a wrap that I built myself, which of course would be different for anyone. The open kitchen is awesome, and allows you to watch them make your food, as you tell them exactly what you want! If you want to REALLY live...try their garlic mayo, you'll thank me! It sounds a bit crazy, but it's FABULOUS! I eat it in my wraps, on my sandwiches, AND dip my fries and cheese curds in it! It's THAT good! They have several spreads and dressings to try, and you'll have fun finding your favorite too!I can't decide between the fries or the cheese curds, so we almost always get both. Cheese, after all, IS what Bravo Farms does! These are the crispiest fries on the planet...SO good! Our kids fight over the fries all the time. There is SO much to check out: sandwiches, HUGE salads of every sort, fresh pizzas, mac and cheese with their special CHEESE sauce, and SO much more!
Wanna know another tip for Bravo Farms? When you're going to a movie, eat at Bravo first and buy your tickets there. They are only $7.50 each with any $10 purchase. You're gonna spend $10 to eat anywhere, so you might as well eat something really delicious! You simply trade in the tickets to Galaxy Theater next door and they exchange them for your specific movie. Easy and cheap!

I do promise you'll love it! Don't take my word for it though, go see for yourself! Check them out 7 days a week for lunch or dinner at the outlets in Tulare. It's the perfect place for people like us that aren't sold on big chain restaurants and microwaved food.
