Meet Dory.
The kids have wanted a pet for some time. But since we are renters, having a pet of the four-legged variety isn't an option. So when the Princess brought home a goldfish from school, I thought that it would be the perfect fit (provided it lasted through the first night - since most goldfish brought home from school/fairs etc. usually don't.)

"Pin"spiration for Boy Spaces~
We're playing musical rooms around our house again. The last time we played it was because this work-from-home mom needed a space for my home office. This time, it's because I decided that a bedroom space for my 12-year-old was more important than a dedicated office for me.

Fun Family Tradition: Annual Back-to-School Dinner
Back-to-school is one of my favorite times of the year. It seems like such a fresh start with wonderful possibilities to me. I remember as a child always being excited when it was time to return to school each fall, and I want my children to feel the same way. So each year, we celebrate going back-to-school with a fun dinner.
One of the things I like to do at this dinner is to introduce a
